What we collect when you contact us, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Flokr builds websites and web apps for small and medium businesses. For anything in this notice, email [email protected].
What we collect
Only what you type into our forms: your name, email address and message. On Start a project you can also tell us your company, what you need, your timeline, your budget range and how you heard about us. Those extra fields are optional.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to talk about working together. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you've contacted us and expect a reply. We don't add you to a mailing list or send marketing.
Who else sees it
Your message passes through services that host this site and deliver its email to us. They handle it on our behalf and don't use it for anything else:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and runs the spam check on our forms (Turnstile).
- Our email provider, which delivers each message to our inbox.
We never sell your details or share them with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep what we need to run the project and meet our legal and accounting duties.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within one working day and act within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
